Inside Our Heated Products Factory
Dr. Warm has been developing and manufacturing heated products since 2013 — heated gloves, socks, insoles, clothing, heating pads, and the battery packs that power them. Working from two sites in Dongguan, China — a main production plant and a dedicated electronics assembly workshop — we handle the whole chain in one place: heating-element design, product assembly, in-house battery pack production, lab testing and export packing.

Production Flow
-
1. Material preparation and cutting
Fabrics, insulation layers and heating elements are cut to pattern from incoming material that has passed inspection before it enters the line.

2. Sewing and fabric assembly
Industrial sewing stations assemble the fabric layers of gloves, insoles and garments, and integrate the heating-element channels, so the wiring sits where the wearer needs the heat and stays protected in use.

3. Electronics and heating-system assembly
Soldering, terminal crimping and an automatic assembly line build the heating element, controller and wiring harness. Battery packs are assembled at the same site, so electronics and power supply are matched before the product is closed up.

4. In-line and finished-product quality control
Every production station is covered by quality control checks, and finished products are inspected individually rather than by sampling.

5. Final testing and export packing
Units are tested in the in-house lab, then packed, labelled and cartoned to your retail or bulk-pack specification.

In-House Laboratory and Testing Equipment
Testing is done in our own lab instead of only at the end of the chain, so problems are caught while the batch is still running.
- Battery performance tester (CT-3008W) — capacity, discharge curve and charge-cycle testing on every pack design
- DC electronic load (3801S) and DC power supply (UTP3315TFL) — runtime, output and power-draw verification
- Electronic bridge (4090A) — resistance and continuity checks on heating elements and wiring
- Programmable constant temperature and humidity chamber — heat and cold cycling of complete units
- Rain test chamber — waterproof verification for outerwear and gloves
- UV yellowing resistance tester — colour and material stability for outdoor fabrics
- Tensile strength testing machine — seam, fabric and component strength
- Wire bending and swinging testing machine — durability of cables and connectors at the flex points
- 3D printing machine — rapid prototyping of housings, clips and controller parts for custom projects
In-House Battery Pack Production
Battery packs are produced on site rather than bought in. Cells are sorted and matched, spot-welded into packs, fitted with protection boards and released only after ageing and safety testing. Producing packs ourselves means we can match capacity to each product’s runtime target and keep traceability from cell batch through to the finished unit. See our battery technology and compliance →
Working With This Factory
Customization — heating-zone layout, controllers, branding, packaging and development from your own sample or artwork — is handled by our OEM and ODM team. Background on the plant is on this page; the commercial side, including order minimums and lead times, is covered here: OEM & ODM services, MOQ and lead times →
Quality Management
Quality control runs through three stages: incoming material inspection, in-process checks at each station, and 100% finished-product inspection against client requirements. Five dedicated quality inspectors work alongside the production team, and main raw materials can be traced by lot to the finished product. Test records can be shared with clients on request.
Third-Party Verification and Certifications
Our manufacturing company has been independently assessed on site by Intertek for Alibaba.com Verified Supplier status — report no. 489823466_P+T, valid from 14 July 2026 to 13 July 2027, assessed entity Dongguan S-King Limited. The site holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485 quality management certification, and our heated products carry CE, RoHS, FCC, UKCA, TUV and UL certification, with battery packs certified to GB 47372-2026 and CCC. See the full certification list →
Warranty and After-Sales
All product lines carry a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Customer feedback and warranty claims are handled through a standard response process, and spare parts, batteries and controllers remain available after delivery so a product does not become unsupported once the season ends.
Visit Our Factory
Buyer visits and third-party audits are welcome. Tell us your product category and expected volume, and we will arrange a tour of the production lines, the electronics assembly workshop and the testing lab, together with a walkthrough of test records and certificates. Book a factory tour →
Factory FAQs
How do you ensure quality before shipment?
Every order passes three stages: incoming material inspection, in-process checks at each production station, and 100% final testing in our in-house lab — including battery aging tests, high/low temperature cycling, waterproof testing to IPX4/IPX5 and thermal imaging verification. Because we produce our own heating elements, quality control starts at the raw material stage. Test records can be shared with clients on request.
How large is your factory, and what is your monthly capacity?
Our manufacturing operation runs from a 6,000 m² main plant plus a 2,074 m² electronics assembly workshop in Dongguan, China, with 3 production lines and 12 units of main production equipment. Monthly output by product line is shown in the capacity table above, and output rises sharply during peak season from August to December.
Can we visit or audit your factory?
Yes. We welcome factory tours and third-party audits. Buyers can walk the production lines, the electronics assembly workshop and the in-house testing lab, and review test records and certificates on site. Our manufacturing company has also been independently assessed by Intertek for Alibaba.com Verified Supplier status. Contact us to arrange a date.
